Now is the time we are seeing a huge influx of Christmas beauty gift sets that while aimed at gifting others, I know as a beauty lover I and many others will simply want to treat themselves to.
But while I repeat ‘I must resist’ under my breath while Christmas shopping, I believe a little treat, especially a money-saving one, is certainly allowed in the lead up to the ‘big day’! Below I’ve sourced a range of affordable Christmas beauty gifts from the totally inexpensive to the luxury but with a huge saving, all of which I’m really impressed with!
Too Faced Tutti Frutti Party Ready Essentials Set (£28.90) Worth £74
I don’t know about you but I love Too Faced products, so when I spotted this amazing beauty gift set and then the price I was more than a little impressed! The set includes not one but three full-size products along with a deluxe sample size product. While the Better Than Sex Mascara is one of the best Too Faced products, so I’m very pleased to see it in the set, the star of the show is the It’s Bananas Setting Powder as not only is it worth £25 but exclusive to Boots so it’s pretty limited edition! The Bronze & Highlighter Duo and full-size Lip Glaze also look amazing. I really can’t believe the price of this gift set!
Cath Kidston Christmas Village Hand & Lip Tin (£8.10)
Next, a bargain reduced in price set from Cath Kidston that I found on Fragrance Direct. This is actually a current Cath Kidston Christmas 2019 gift set that comes with a Pine & Red Berry Hand Cream and Eggnog scented Lip Balm in a lovely keepsake tin. Not only do both products look lovely but I can’t get over how sweet the metal tin is, which would be perfect for displaying on a shelf at Christmas or storing cookies in. There’s also a nice £4.00 saving with the gift set if you pick it up on Fragrance Direct! Find more discounted Cath Kidston gift sets here.
EOS Sweet Mint Super Soft Trio (£10) (only £8.00 with code Skin20)
If you are a fan of EOS lip balms then I feel like this is one tempting gift set as not only does it contains a limited edition Candy Candy Swirl Lip Balm (worth £6.50) but the set is an absolute steal! Along with the EOS lip balm, the set contains both a full-size Sweet Mint Body Lotion and Hand Cream. I simply can’t get over the low price of this set so much so I bought it for myself! Also available in a limited edition Cherry Blossom scent here.
Spectrum x Disney Small Gift Set (£25) (currently on sale – £18.75)
Onto two lovely affordable brush gift sets now that are a collaboration with Disney. Each set comes with 4 full-size Spectrum face brushes and a makeup pouch with either a Snow White or Aladdin theme. Spectrum brushes are known for being excellent quality and ultra-soft so you can expect some stunning brushes here along with a cute limited edition Disney themed makeup pouch.
e.l.f Candy Eyeshadow Duo Set (£5)
Over the years e.l.f cosmetics have increased their prices so I was surprised to see quite a few budget gift sets this year. This Candy Eyeshadow Duo Set is a total steal, containing 3 duo eyeshadow along with a full-size eye brush. The shades of all three complimentary eyeshadows could create three different looks or be used together and I’m honestly impressed with the choice of shades in the set – no dodgy looking colours here! A great budget gift set to treat yourself to or pick up as a Christmas gift. I also spotted a cute looking e.l.f Candy Kisses Lip Balm Trio here for only £4.50 as well!
Origins Superstar: Best Selling Essentials (£25.60)
For the past two years that I know of, Origins has brought out this ‘our best of our best’ gift set for Christmas, that contains two full-size products (GinZing Moisturiser and Spot Remover Treatment – worth £31 alone!) plus five deluxe minis. Not only is the selection great with a mixture of products such as face masks, eye cream and face wash but the saving it just incredible. If you are a fan of Origins or you are new to the brand this is such a good set to pick up for yourself.
Real Techniques Sheer Glow Gift Set (£15.00)
Next, a really lovely affordable gift set from Real Techniques. This contains 3 full-size face brushes, eyelash curlers and a compact mirror. These are limited edition season exclusive brushes so you won’t be seeing the holographic foil finish anywhere else! However even if you aren’t too bothered about the design, the buffing brush alone retails for £9 generally, with the other two highlighter and shadow brushes being around the £6 mark so this again in amazing value set!
Wet n Wild Midnight Goddess Collection (£10)
Last but not least a gift set of dreams if you are a Wet n’ Wild fan or simply enjoy good value drugstore makeup. While the set does include the most hideous makeup bag I think I’ve ever seen (apologies if you like it!) it makes up for it with three bestselling products that are all full-size. The lipstick is a nice nude but the stars of the show are the Highlighting Powder which is a personal favourite of mine, along with the Rose In The Air Eyeshadow palette, which I talked about and showed off here as it’s an amazing Anastasia Beverly Hills eyeshadow palette dupe! Even with the bag ditched or given to your nan this is a great makeup set for the money!
